Talks, tips, plant and seed swaps and information sharing all happen in a relaxed informal manner.
Themes include setting up simple systems, mediums and their properties, nutrients and nutrient solutions, propagation, water quality and how to check it, fruiting problems and more.
Members have simple window box systems to large extensive greenhouses so there is plenty of experience to draw on if you are just starting up.
Meetings
Monthly meetings alternating between Urrbrae Agricultural College (TAFE) in Adelaide and members homes.
Urrbrae meetings are on the last thursday of the month and the members house meetings are a saturday BBQ usually on the last saturday of the month. Visitors always welcome. Contact secretary on 0411-105-365 for times and places for meetings in 2007.
The Society operates a useful lending library of hydroponic books and publications and publishes a regular newsletter
